  19. Correct -- it's amazing that with a communications medium like USENET, 
  20. so many people could be under the false impression that the FCC, or 
  21. AT&T, or the local telcos had anything to do with the filing of the ACTA 
  22. petition.  Some people would simply prefer to not be bothered with the 
  23. facts and go on believing: gov't = bad, Ma Bell = bad, local Bell = bad, 
  24. etc.

  40. software companies??  Probably not, but who can consistently predict how 
  41. the FCC will come out on these things??
